Studio Studies

There are moments in-between times, when the direction I need to go with the next big painting is still unclear, ideas bubble up to the surface, effervesce away, and I have to surrender to the slow simmer of the creative process. In these liminal spaces, there is still a need to create, to be moving paint across a surface for the simple joy of it. These smaller works and studies are born of these spaces.
